EA Extends In-game Advertising Deal

ea hq Bringing more ads into its games, EA today announced that it has signed a multiyear agreement with Massive Inc., a leading network for video game advertising, to expand on their previous agreement as well as offer dynamic in-game ads in the PC version of the publisher’s products. The deal will mostly affect the sports titles, including popular EA Sports franchises such as Madden NFL, NBA LIVE, NASCAR and NHL. They will also offer games for other brands, including the upcoming NFS game; they are also working on integrating ads into Burnout Paradise.

“We continue to utilize the breadth and depth of Massive’s content to market a range of our clients’ key brands,” said Brian Bos, senior vice president, Convergence Director, Mindshare - Team Detroit. “With this expanded partnership, we will be able to plan dynamic in-game campaigns several years out, which is critical in making Massive’s content platform a more integral part of our video game marketing strategy.”

Well, look forward to seeing KFC ads while playing NFS.
