Rock Band Gets In-game Store, Other Fixes

rock-band A downloadable patch for the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of Rock Band is coming soon that will resolve a number of issues as well as add a new in-game music store, Harmonix revealed today.

The in-game store will work like iTunes, allowing users to preview and buy new tracks from within the game. Users will also be able to easily search and sort through the game’s various downloadable songs. This in-game store was one of the most requested features from fans.

Also detailed in this Rock Band forum post, other tweaks include faster loading of downloadable content, improved phoneme recognition for signers and a fix to resolve constant repetition of tracks in World Tour mode. There are other fixes as well, which are all detailed in the aforementioned forum post.
