Wii Getting Rock Band

Games like Guitar Hero came on the early tides of the explosion of casual gaming and the Wii has climbed to the top of that wave and is riding it on a surfboard of cash. It’s no big surprise that Rock Band, the ultimate in buddy/party games is coming to the Wii. Harmonix announced that the game will be available as a Special Edition bundle starting June 22nd for the Wii at a cost of $169.99. The bundle will feature one of each of the instruments and microphone along with sixty-three songs. Stand alone instruments will also be available starting that day for people starting out solo.
