Xbox LIVE Displeased With Cheaters
While it was all fun and games while it lasted, Xbox LIVE has finally dropped the hammer on those who pushed the limits of the ability to cheat the Gamerscore system. XBL accounts found to have had their scores tampered with will undergo a series of punishments.
Their ‘hard earned’ gamerscores will be reset to zero also making previously obtained achievements now unobtainable. To seal the deal, those found cheating will have their accounts branded as a cheater.
This isn’t enough to deter your cheating? Well continue cheating and risk the chance of having your XBL account permanently canceled by Microsoft. This comes as great news to all of us who meticulously went through level after level racking up those achievements.
