The release schedule of the first downloadable map pack for Call of Duty 4 has been clarified by developer Infinity Ward. A community manager revealed that the upcoming Variety Map pack will be available for the Xbox 360 on April 3 (or 4) and the PS3 roughly three weeks later. A PC edition may “possibly” come after that.
“Right now plans for the PC version are unannounced but we are working to bring PC users the same content in the future,” he wrote on his blog. “Logistics are being worked out on how to make that happen.”
The map pack will contain four new multiplayer maps - Creek, Broadcast, Killhouse and Chinatown. It will be available for 800 Microsoft points or $10.
