Master System Games Cheapest VC Offerings

March 26th, 2008 Posted in News, Wii

Earlier this year Nintendo announced they’d be adding games from Sega’s Master System to their lineup of virtual console products for Japan, Europe and North America. The first two titles available will be “Wonder Boy” an action platforming game and “Fantasy Zone” a side-scrolling shooter. If you’re a big fan of the retro you’ll be happy to hear that Master System games are the cheapest thus far. NES and Commodore 64 titles both retail for 500 Wii points ($5) but the Master System titles are a whole 100 Wii points cheaper at a bargain price of 400 Wii points ($4). That’s right, instead of buying four NES or Commodore 64 titles you could buy five Master System games! Well, that is, when they release three more.
