Sony has put out a press release stating they’ve found some vulnerability issues that may have opened things up for hackers to retrieve passwords, personal information and the worst case scenario, credit card information. Although they believe that to be unlikely.
So where does that leave you? Well Sony has fixed the issues, and encourages you to log in. If you can do so with your pre-set password, you really should not have much to worry about. If you do experience issues though, you should contact Sony’s customer department to make sure nothing has been leaked to those nasty hackers.
You can take a gander at the official press release to gain all the details and contact the customer department if you have any leads or information to provide.
