"Cat Silencer" from Postal in Real World

In an amusing April Fools prank (or is it real?), Running With Scissors announced that the “Cat Silencer” from the Postal game series as well as the upcoming Postal movie has been added to the arsenal of the US Army. It is now part of “real world, cutting edge weapons technology,” the joking press release reads.

The “Cat Silencer” gun that Boll developed as a special effect for the upcoming film is now ready for real world use by police and military forces around the world. The device was recently highlighted on Discovery Channel’s “FutureWeapons”, the company discloses.

“We’ve always considered ourselves a force for order in a chaotic world,” Running With Scissors CEO and weapon visionary Vince Desi told reporters. “It makes me stiffen with patriotic pride to think about what these weapons R&D people will do with the Badger Buzzsaw in our next game, POSTAL III.”
