Former Vivendi Exec Now Atari Prez
Atari has announced the appointment of former Vivendi Games executive Jim Wilson as CEO and president of the financially troubled publisher. Wilson’s predecessor, David Pierce, resigned in November 2007; his appointment is the latest in as eries of restructuring efforts by Atari and its parent company Infogrames.
The move comes after Infogrames themselves hired Phil Harrison, former SOE executive, as their president. The publisher is going through major workforce cuts and mounting losses.
