It seems that Australian citizens who were hopeful of participating in virtual prostitution and the like, come GTA IV’s release date, are in for somewhat of a smack to the face. Australia’s version of the ESRB, the Office of Film and Literature Classification, has stepped in once again and forced Rockstar to edit their game in order to abide with the MA15+ rating.
This isn’t the first time Rockstar has been faced with this situation as the previous Grand Theft Auto games have also had content, like prostitution, removed.
While it wasn’t mentioned exactly what will be taken out of the game, we have a hankering it’s going to be similar to that of the previous titles.
