I don’t know a lot of things, and one of them includes “why would people work on something of a “Prologue” when they can be working on the full game?” This applies to Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, the upcoming preview of the eventual release of GT5, which will get a vehicular damage patch through the PlayStation Network, possibly later this year. This was revealed by series creator Kazunori Yamauchi while speaking to IGN.

GT 5 Prologue is already available in Europe and Japan, offering over sixty vehicles and six tracks to drive them on. Meant as a sneak peek to the eventual Gran Turismo 5, the game will be released in North America on April 17 via PlayStation Network and retail.
