Rock Band Weekly: OXM Freebies, But Not Free

It’s going to be quite the strange little week for Rock Band next week, as the three titles while “new” certainly have been available for a long time depending on who you ask.
“Rock Rebellion” by Bang Camaro (master)
“Shake” by Count Zero (master)
“Super Sprode” by Freezepop (master)
Will all retail for 99 cents, or 80 MS points which is cheaper than normal, but certainly not as cheap as free. If the tunes seem familiar at all, then you’ll recall these freebies came along with the OXM February issue. So while three dollars is cheaper than trying to locate a February issue at this stage in the game, I bet these lesser known titles, which many people already own, certainly won’t be cracking the top seller list. But of course, if you don’t own a 360, then this is the first opportunity to hop on the tracks. Unfortunately though, with PSN still out of service, playstation owners will have to wait even longer to get their hands on this content.
If you have to try them out, at least now that the music store is live you can take a test run, and you may just find for you, they are worth the money, watch for them Tuesday on Xbox Live, and download the Still Alive while you are at it.
