Saints Row 2 to Hit Shelves August 26
While it was just yesterday that THQ released it’s 2009 lineup, today they have announced that one of the biggest games on that lineup, Saints Row 2, will in fact be released to consumers on August 26th.
Included in the sequel will be 2 player online co-op, along with an all new city, vehicles, and character customization. Co-op will not be the only form of multi player in Saints Row 2 though as THQ has announced that there will also be other forms of multi player with details coming at a later date.
It’s too bad that this game will probably go unnoticed as the latest Grand Theft Auto, the franchise Saints Row 2 was surely inspired by, is so close to its April 29th release date. Oh well, maybe by the time Saints Row 2 comes out we will have gotten bored of GTA IV, then again maybe not.
