Lair Update Adding Analog Support

April 10th, 2008 by Rajiv Ashrafi in Action, News, PlayStation 3

Lair-F IGN reports that a forthcoming update for Lair will add analog control support to the action title. The details have been released by Sony Japan, who disclosed that the update will allow players to shed the game’s Sixaxis-only control scheme in favor of friendly analog controls. It will be available in Japan on April 17, with a worldwide release soon thereafter.

Released back in August 2007, Lair was highly anticipated and was expected to be one of the PS3’s big sellers. Instead, the game was criticized for its Sixaxis controls and fared poorly with both fans and critics.
