Gunmetal Gray Limited Edition PS3 Coming to North America
Capitalizing on the upcoming success of Metal Gear Solid 4, Sony Computer Entertainment America and Konami have revealed plans to bring an extremely limited edition “gunmetal gray” colored PS3 to North America. Dubbed the Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots Limited Edition PS3 Hardware Bundle (quite a mouthful), it will be a separate offering from the initially announced MGS4 PS3 bundle.
Contents of this bundle haven’t been revealed, but one can expect a copy of the game, a DualShock 3 controller and the limited edition console. No mentions of pricing or availability were made, though a post on the PlayStation Blog notes that it will be a “VERY, VERY Limited Edition bundle.”
MGS4 will be released on June 12 for the PS3 amid much expected fanfare.
