A press release from Eastern European publisher Akella reveals that Left 4 Dead, Valve’s cooperative zombie shooter, has been delayed till Fall. The game was originally scheduled for release in late Summer, most probably in August or September.
Akella also noted in the announcement that it will publish the title in Russia and other CIS territory at the game’s worldwide launch this Fall.
“We will be working closely with Akella as we prepare the launch of Left 4 Dead in one of today’s fastest growing gaming markets,” said Valve marketing VP Doug Lombardi.
Left 4 Dead is being developed for PC and Xbox 360. No PS3 version is in development.
