Metal Gear Online Beta in Europe

Konami has announced its plans for a public beta program across Europe for Metal Gear Online, the upcoming multiplayer-oriented version of MGS4. The beta will premiere via the PlayStation Store on April 17, with online tests running from April 21 through May 6. The full game will be released as part of MGS4 on June 12.

The beta will offer players the chance to experience various aspects of the multiplayer game, which emphasizes cooperative team-based play. Those downloading the beta will get to explore two maps – “Blood Bath” and “Groznyi Grad”. The full game will launch with five unique stages and offer even more modes of play. Konami will release additional expansion packs, adding more stuff to the game, throughout the year.
