Reminder: New Halo 3 Maps Tuesday
While most of you are probably still ownin’ up in the recently released Call of Duty 4 maps you need not forget that Bungie will be dropping its Legendary Map Pack this Tuesday. Priced at the usual 800 Microsoft Points, come April 15th all you need to do is point your 360 in the direction of the Xbox LIVE Marketplace and hit download.
The real reason to get excited about Bungie’s latest map pack is that they are bringing back two classic Halo maps from the previous 2 games- Lockout and Sidewinder. Featured in the Legendary Map Pack are 3 maps: Blackout, Lockout’s remake, Avalanche, Sidewinder’s remake, and Ghost Town, an all new non symmetrical map that will be sure to give Halo 3 a fresh feeling to supplement the nostalgia of the new-old maps.
Bungie also release a ViDoc, entitled ‘Mapmaker’, that walks viewers through the various levels while also touching upon new features included in the map pack like real-time visual filters.
