Infinity Ward to develop future Call of Duty games?
The success that Call of Duty 4 has received thus far can be contributed to Infinity Ward’s top-notch development team which is great news because, rumor has it Infinity Ward could have possibly extended their contract with Activison to become the sole developer for the Call of Duty franchise. While Call of Duty 3, developed by Treyarch, was a great game, judging by the buzz on the internet Call of Duty 4 is was much more well received.
Basically, this means that if the rumors are true, Infinity Ward will be the developers of Call of Duty 6 and onward, that is, if Treyarch is in fact developing Call of Duty 5.
