According to this Gamesindustry report, Activision’s Foster City, California-based Underground Development studio will be closed by the end of May. The studio, which employed about 45 people, most recently worked on the PS3 port of Enemy Territory: Quake Wars.
Formerly known as Z-Axis, UD was acquired by Activision in May 2002 and renamed Underground Development in February of this year. Activision noted that it is looking to find opportunities for all of its employees at other studios owned by the company.
