Ubisoft recently revealed its sales figures for the 2007-2008 fiscal year, revealing that Assassin’s Creed is the culprit behind a 36% boost in 2008 sales over last year. The company’s sales totaled 928 million Euros, or roughly $1.45 billion US, beating its last year’s record of 217 million Euros.
The company cited the performance of the aforementioned action-stealth game for the boost in numbers. Ubisoft claims that it has sold over six million copies of Assassin’s Creed, while Rainbow Six Vegas 2 sold nearly two million units since its release in March.
