Mega rental agency Blockbuster has announced that it is going to expand its presence in the video game sector, beginning with the placement of high-profile games like Grand Theft Auto IV (what else?) in the “New Releases” section which was formerly exclusive to movies.
The company further states that its branches in the United States are now stocking and selling games, hardware and accessories for the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii and DS. In addition, they are also hosting an exclusive PS3 bundle that contains a 40GB PS3, HDMI cable, the craptastic Transformers game, Spider-Man 3 Blu-ray disc, Blu-ray remote control and a 12 week PS3/Blu-ray rental card. It is going for $499.
