Asian 360 gets price cut

While it’s no secret that the 360 isn’t doing so hot in Asia, compared to the Wii and PS3, Microsoft is looking to change that. Recently announcing that their Xbox 360 console will be seeing a price drop in Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, and Singapore, Microsoft is hoping that the newly priced console will spur more interest in the Asian gaming community, especially with games like GTA 4 just being released.

Singapore will see the biggest decrease in price with a full 20% off the MSRP while South Korea will see a mere 6% off.  While some have doubts that this price drop will attract an astonishing number of potential buyers, others feel that all Microsoft needs to do is cater more to the Asian gaming community.

GTA: Tokyo coming soon.
