GTA IV runs into freezing problems
Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto 4, being one of the biggest games of the year, was bound to run into at least some sorts of problems, right?
Well, the first slew of complaints, not from a politician, about Rockstar’s shoot-em’-up have begun to roll in as select users find their consoles frozen after viewing the introductory scene. While only effecting some 60GB PS3s and Xboxs, Rockstar has been made aware of the problem from which another problem arises, they have no idea what is causing the lockup.
Word on the street is that if you delete your save file and create a new one the problem will be remedied, so hope for those with the problem are not lost. Of course, when the problem is officially analyzed you can expect to see a patch from Rockstar that will fix the problem for good, but exactly when that patch is coming is anyones guess.
