It often takes a lot of motivation to start working. For Q-Games president Dylan Cuthbert, it was his wife’s incessant nagging that prompted him to make an expansion for his company’s downloadable PlayStation Network game PixelJunk Monsters.
As announced on the PlayStation Blog, the expansion, dubbed Encore, includes a new island, 15 new levels, five new music tracks and item cost and availability revisions. It will be released sometime later this month.
“My wife simply loved the game so much she would badger me every day for more levels, so in the end I caved in,” wrote Cuthbert. “Of course, we were also getting mails every day from people asking for more so we simply decided to listen to everyone.”
