So what exactly were you expecting the week following GTA IV and Mario Kart, good games? Surprisingly, there is just one such gutsy title which will probably go on to under perform as it is lost in the storm so to speak. Boom Blox, if nothing else attaches Steven Spielberg’s name to the project, and immediately draws interest, but behind the boxy exterior is an interesting puzzle game well suited to wii mechanics. As for every other system did you really expect good games following GTA IV? Until the masses are finished with Niko, don’t expect retail to start bouncing back until June. Unless it is the Wii which seems to be simply ignoring the game altogether, and dropping Wii Fit shortly as well.
