Atari Delisted from Nasdaq
May 13th, 2008 by Rajiv Ashrafi in Business, News, PC
Atari has disclosed that its stock will no longer be listed or traded on the Nasdaq Stock Market. The action follows several warnings from Nasdaq, which previously informed the company that it would be delisted if the value of its public shares did not increase to $15 million or more and stay above that figure for at least ten days.
The game publisher’s stocks can now be purchased through delisted company trader Pink Sheets. Atari does not expect the delisting to affect its merger with Infogrames, its parent company. The merger is scheduled for the Q3 2008.
