Frozenbyte Focusing on New Stuff
Finnish game developer Frozenbyte, whose portfolio consists of the Shadowgrounds franchise, has announced that it has decided to focus on creating games based on an original IP. The company has expanded its development team and has three projects in the pipeline, all of which are based on this new IP.
“Our decision to focus on games based on original IP gives the company a clear direction into the future. Whether it’s a project of our own or a partnership project, our expertise in envisioning, developing and launching new IPs helps enormously. We feel that we’ve got that special creative spark that’s needed for great, original games,” said Frozenbyte CEO, Lauri Hyvarinen. “We’re letting our creativity run wild and the results are amazing. Two new projects will be unveiled shortly and that’s just the beginning – you can expect big things from us in the future!”
The developer has also redesigned its website, which now offers a company blog that gives gamers behind-the-scenes news, as well as an upgraded forum for fans to interact directly with the developers.
