Skate 2 Annnounced
May 13th, 2008 by Rajiv Ashrafi in News, Sports, Wii
Seeing as how the original was so successful at retail and with critics and gamers alike, EA has announced that it is developing a direct sequel to Skate. Simply referred to as Skate 2, the game is being developed for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
The publisher isn’t keeping Nintendo fans in the dark either. They have announced Skate It, an entirely new game designed from the ground up for the Wii and DS. This game is due out later this year and will let players use the Wii motion-sensitive controller to perform moves in-game; DS users will get to use the portable’s touch screen to control tricks. The Wii edition of the game will also support the Wii Balance Board that comes with Wii Fit.
No release date or further details for Skate 2 was mentioned though.

Sweet!! I’m really looking forward to skate 2!
I am hearing some roamers that says they are going to make a similar realistic snowboarding game as well! Hope those roamers are true! A possible “EA Snow” would’ve been sick!
