Apparently Uwe Boll isn’t quite finished with his destructive rain of terrible videogame movie adaptations. He instead has his eyes set on something a little more recent, and a little more high profile.
Uwe Boll is looking directly at a movie adaptation of the GTA series, which as far as video games go is a likely candidate. However, despite his desire, he himself acknowledges he won’t likely be gaining the green like for the project.
“They will go, in the end, with a Michael Bay or a Brett Ratner, and it will be a PG-13 movie made for $150 million,” he said. “I think it would be better to make a $30 million, very hard, brutal movie without compromising, but I’m not optimistic.”
Well Uwe Boll, I’d like to point something out. Considering Rockstar sunk 100 million on making a quality game, I think I’d know which side of the budget fence they’d fall on as well.
For now, make sure to sign the stop Uwe Boll petition, our lives clearly depend on it!
