Lost Planet Colonies Edition Gold
Capcom today announced that Lost Planet: Extreme Condition COLONIES EDITION has gone gold for PC and Xbox 360; it will be available starting May 27. One of the most robust updates to a Platinum title, the Colonies Edition offers the single-player experience of the original game, with the addition of three new modes.
First of the new modes is Score Attack where enemies have points assigned to them and the score awarded will change depending on how they are defeated. The Trial Battle mode pits players against all of the game’s bosses, one after another. The final mode is Off Limit, which allows players to take on the planet’s environments and enemies with over-the-top, super-charged weapons and a powered-up grappling hook.
Multiplayer has also been enhanced, as the game features 4 new maps, 5 new playable characters, 10 new weapons and 7 new multiplayer modes. Also, for the first time, Xbox 360 owners will be able to join up or play against PC gamers, thanks to the title’s cross-platform compatibility.
