No More Ninja Gaiden

Soon we will see the end of one of the most frustratingly difficult yet incredibly enjoyable video game franchises ever. The release of Ninja Gaiden II for the Xbox 360 will mark the last game in the series, at least for the time being. Tomonobu Itagaki of the infamous ‘Team Ninja’ has said that he considers the game to be the definitive 3D game for the franchise and has decided he wants to move on.
Though Ryu Hayabusa will flip and slash through the shadows of our hearts Itagaki will no longer be involved in his stealthy ways. The developer has announced that for the time being he’d like to work on something completely new, possibly a game set in the Pacific Theatre of WWII or a game in space.
