Pokemon Platinum Headed to DS

While rumors have been circulating for some time now that there would be a new Pokemon game for Nintendo’s hand held, there really wasn’t any rock hard evidence to support this rumor other than a magazine snippet that stated we would see Pokemon Platinum in Spring of 09.

Well, turns out there is a new Pokemon game slated for release entitled, Pokemon Platinum. There is virtually no details regarding the new Pokemon game but rumor has it it won’t be a completely new adventure, rather an expansion of sorts of Pokemon Diamond/Pearl. There is, however, an official Japanese website that sports a few snazzy graphics along with 2 screenshots of the upcoming game that you can access here.
