Space Chimps Coming to Wii and DS

Chances are you’ve probably heard of the upcoming moving entitled Space Chimps, created by Shrek mastermind John H. Williams. If not, read on.

Space Chimps stars Ham, grandson of the first chimpanzee to ever be launched into orbit. Utilizing his heritage, Ham takes part in a publicity stunt that has him launched into orbit just like his grandfather in order to explore a newly discovered planet. Things go haywire as spaceship crash-lands on the planet, causing Ham to embark on an adventure to save the life of his friends along with his own from the clutches of King Zartog.

Anyways, a video game spin off of the movie described above will be launched on both the Wii and Nintendo DS to coincide with the movies debut in August. The Wii version will include 11 levels, 13 evil enemies along with a 2 player co-op mode. The DS version on the other hand, will feature side-scrolling action and a two player multiplayer mode, presumably not co-op.
