Gears of War Sequel Throttling Achievements

It seems that CliffyB has listened to the complaints about the original Gears of War and is going to fix them in the upcoming sequel. CVG quotes the man as saying that they are going to make the game such that achievement whores do not spoil the game of other players during multiplayer: they are going to limit the number of achievements that can be earned during a single multiplayer game.
“If you’re going for headshots,” said CliffyB, “you get one headshot that counts and any other headshots won’t count towards your Achievement, so players don’t just play to get headshots the entire round just to get Achievements.”
He also noted that players will be able to track the progress of their achievements in Gears of War 2, though he wouldn’t go into any details.
Gears of War 2 is due out this November exclusively on the Xbox 360.
