Haze Not in HD, Requires 4GB Installation

Speaking to Ripten, creative lead Derek Littlewood revealed that Haze does not run in high definition, but plays at a resolution of 576p and not 720p, leaving the PS3 to upscale the image.
“We prioritise a nice smooth frame-rate over a different [resolution],” he said. “Personally, I don’t really buy the whole thing. People did the same with Call of Duty, they did the same with Halo, and they say with those games ‘It’s not running at true HD!’ And it’s like, ‘I don’t care.’ If the game looks good and it runs smoothly, those are the important things to me.”
It was also revealed that the game would require an installation of at least 4GB. This comes from a post made by a community rep on the Ubisoft forums.
Haze is due out exclusively on the PS3 later this week.
