633435060543953750 It was previously announced by Atari that the upcoming Alone in the Dark game would follow a TV episodic style of presentation, showing off “previously on…” cinematics and segments of gameplay presented as episodes.

Following up on this, the company has further announced that the game will feature a DVD-style chapter menu, letting players rewind or fast forward through the game. For example, if one is having a hard time with a puzzle section, he can skip past it via the chapter select menu, moving on to finish another section. However, all the episodes must be completed before the ending can be seen.

Alone in the Dark is due out next month on PC, PS2, Wii and Xbox 360, with a PS3 release set for sometime later this year.
