Resident Evil 5 Features Coop Play, Cover Mechanic

Shacknews’ eagle-eyed reporters report that Resident Evil 5 will feature drop-in, drop-out online cooperative play throughout the entire campaign. This comes from a now-removed GamesRadar preview.
The preview also revealed that a cover system will be incorporated into the control mechanics for the first time in the franchise, allowing players to “lock to a wall and fire around the corner,” ala Gears of War or Uncharted. It will also feature a dodging mechanic similar to the one seen in God Hand.
As per the preview, the cooperative mode will have players team up with the AI when another player is not present. They also confirmed that the Mercenaries mini-game, a challenge mode featured in the third and fourth entries in the series, will be in the game.

Good news, this game will indeed be sick.
Also, I am digging the new look, Rajiv. Gotta get rid of the spammers though. Try captcha.
