Resident Evil 5 Release Date Pinned

From a recently released financial report comes word that Capcom has pinned its survival horror action game Resident Evil 5 for release in the fiscal year ending March 31, 2009.

The game, which previously had no definite release date, may now launch in the first quarter of 2009 if suggestions from various sources are to be trusted. Resident Evil 4, the fourth game in the series, launched in January 2005.

It was recently revealed‘ by Shacknews that the game will employ a cover system and feature cooperative gameplay throughout the campaign.
