No More Patches for Crysis

In a recent announcement that is sure to be met with sour response, Crytek’s been quoted to have said that there are no plans to develop future patches for Crysis.

Crytek assures us that while there will be no further support for the game, they are confident that gamers will appreciate what they are working on next.

With recent trademarks filings on titles like Crysis Wars, Crysis Warhead, and World in Crysis could this mean a sequel to the game, or possibly an expansion? Only time can tell, but with falling PC sales attributed to piracy we can except Crytek’s next game not to be a PC exclusive.
