Though glimpses of the second game are yet to be seen, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick, speaking at the company’s investors conference call, revealed that a BioShock movie may be released alongside the third entry in the series.
“It’s more likely that [the BioShock movie] would be released coincidentally with BioShock 3,” Zelnick said.
BioShock 2 is in development at 2K Marin and is planned for release in Fall 2009. No details on the game are known at the moment. It was previously stated that series creator Ken Levine will be involved in the project, though his role is yet to be known.
The original BioShock came out last year on PC and Xbox 360; a PS3 version is set for release this October.
