The assimilation of Star Wars in Soul Calibur 4 just got a bit deeper, as Namco sent out word that Yoda and Darth Vader will be joined by the latter’s secret apprentice from the upcoming Star Wars: Force Unleashed game.

His character will appear on both the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the fighting game, and will make use of the same lightsaber techniques employed by the veterans. Yoda is exclusive to the Xbox 360 and Darth Vader to the PS3 versions of the fighting game.

Soul Calibur 4 is due for release July 29 on PS3 and Xbox 360. Star Wars Force Unleashed will be force-choking its way to stores on September 16 on a plethora of platforms.
