Civ IV: Colonization Announced

The Civilization series continues with Civilization IV: Colonization, a stand-alone expansion for the popular turn-based strategy title. Set for release this Fall, the expansion will position players as one of four European nations vying for control of the New World.

It is being built up from the ground using the Civilization IV engine, and is being touted by the publisher as a complete reimagining of the original 1994 classic Civilization. The expansion will include a brand new interface, improved diplomacy options and a new modding toolset.
