Giving a straightforward confirmation and then receding it is a bit weird, but it’s a tight spot where Gas Powered Games founder Chris Taylor is. Earlier commenting that they will focus on one single character in the third game in the series, Taylor has responded, saying that he was speaking about a “hypothetical third game.”
“When asked if we were considering taking lessons learned from Space Siege back into the Dungeon Siege [role-playing] series, the answer was, yes,” he told CVG.
“We have not made any official announcements, or have any official plans [of a new Dungeon Siege game], but we are kicking ideas around,” he added. “It would be a long time before another DS game was finished and saw the light of day.”
