LucasArts Is Attending E3, No New Games

June 19th, 2008 by Will Prusik in Business, E3, News, PC, PlayStation 3, Wii, Xbox360

A report that LucasArts won’t be attending E3 this year has been quashed. The article has been pulled from GI.biz (although Joystiq has a screenshot of it if you’re curious). Margaret Grohne, LucasArts’ PR Director has said they will in fact be attending. You can’t get a much higher authority than that. It seems that this sprang from a misinterpreted article by VentureBeat. Unfortunately there won’t be any confirmation of rumors about a new KOTOR being made with Bioware or a new Star Wars Battlefront game being made with Free Radical; they also made it known that they won’t be unveiling any new games there. At least the announcement of the Clone Wars games gives us something relatively unknown to look forward to.
