Tecmo, Itagaki Submit Contradicting Evidence

The gaming soap opera continues with the court proceedings between Tecmo and Team Ninja head Tomonobu Itagaki, with both sides having submitted contradictory evidence to the court, suggesting something is wrong.

Itagaki, hoping to prove that he never received a completion bonus for his work on Dead or Alive 4, sibmitted a contract that affirmed his claims of the promised bonus. Tecmo submitted a similar contract, but the bonus clause was missing.

The blatant contradiction between the documents are yet to be addressed, but contradictory documents submitted in Tecmo’s other court cases suggest that the company may be falsifying its documents.
