A study conducted by the Entertainment Software Association shows that 70 percent of major US employers use interactive software to train their employees. The study notes that the usage of game-like training is set to increase in the coming years, with around 80 percent of companies not utilizing software for training is more likely to do so in the next five years.
Conducted by KRC Research, the national poll surveyed the management of 150 large US companies and non-profits between March 17 and April 2 this year. Among the ESA’s examples of companies using this sort of training is a drag-and-drop game being used by Canon USA to train employees on using copy machines.
