World of Warcraft Song Hitting Guitar Hero 3

world_of_warcraft_050905 WoW addicts take note: a track inspired by the game will soon be made available as a free download for Guitar Hero 3. Following in the veins of the Halo 3 and God of War tracks, it will be made completely free tomorrow on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network.

The thrash-metal song “I Am Murloc” by Level 70 Elite Tauren Chieftain will be released; it originally made its debut at BlizzCon 2005 and is described as “a tongue-in-cheek tribute to the beloved race of fish-people by Blizzard Entertainment’s house band, Level 70 Elite Tauren Chieftain.”

The track is meant to be part of Blizzard’s upcoming Worldwide Invitational celebration which starts this weekend. It is believed that the studio will unveil a new game at the show.
