No Led Zeppelin Music in Rhythm Games Anytime Soon

led-zeppelin-stairway-to-heaven1 According to Wall Street Journal, you won’t be able to see Led Zeppelin’s iconic tunes in Guitar Hero or Rock Band anytime soon.

The band, specifically guitarist Jimmy Page, has expressed his dislike for giving game companies access to the group’s master recordings. It is the step to adding tracks to a game.

A disappointing choice by Page hurts all of us gamers who were looking forward to “Stairway” on our virtual set lists someday. Maybe someday Mr. Page will change his mind and endow upon us some of his awesome tunes.
