No Fallout 3 Editor; Nudity Being Avoided
Bethesda employee Todd Howard revealed that the PC edition of Fallout 3 will not include an editor to allow user-created mods, unlike past Bethesda games, over on the game’s official forum. However, he (somewhat) assures us that one may be released later.
“If and when one is available, it will be a free download. I wish I could promise that an editor will be coming and when, but I can’t,” he explained. “It’s a major undertaking getting an editor ready for release, and making sure the game plays nice with the data users create. That being said, we’d love to see it happen.”
In related news, when asked about whether the game would feature sex, homosexuality, nudity, prostitution, cannibalism, child killing, drug addictions and the like, Howard replied that while the game will not feature any child killings or nudity, it will “feature the types of things you mention at about the same rate [of the original game].”
Fallout 3 is due out this Fall on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

i think fallout3 is very incomplete, when you play in 3º person, the way the player holdes the pistol is very bad he should hold it close to its shoulder, not close to its bell, but the aiming animation (mouse right click) is good, also in 3ºperson when the player is moving it only shows movements in 4 positions, foward, back, lefth and right, it should show animations in all movement directions. (its not very hard to do its something that all games have, all shooter games that you can play in 3ºperson have this basics) —- oblivion also had this irritating missises —-
fallout3 its a good game, but it doesnt have all those small details that makes some games look real cool…
it would be good to have an editor that was easy to work with so we could change this things

I wish the USA would stop being so asinine about nudity. The game is rated 18+ (at least in NL/EU it is), could we please accept the fact that people have bodies, and that those are perfectly fine to look at?

Wow that’s damn sad. It’s 2008 and people are still crapping theselves about how PRUDE they can be with nudity. Seriously, there is more nudity on TV. If a mature audiance WANTS nudity, then they should be able to have nudity. I’m a red blooded, beer drinking perv. I want to get my cheap thrills darn it.

Really? Than why did they release the G.E.C.K which allows for custom mods? And already theres thousands of mods already made and one of them IS a nudity mod? I think you guys need to get your facts straight.

And maybe you should look closer at the posting dates. At the time most of these were posted, there was no G.E.C.K. planned, much less released.

that didn’t stop modders anyway, there already are nudity mods, if anything all it did was dampen the ability for modders to improve the game.
